Get ready for a laugh fest. YouTube is debuting Comedy Week from May 19-25. To kick things off, on Sunday, May 19, at 6 p.m. PT, “The Big Live Comedy Show” premiers. It will be a live stream with comedians doing a mix of stand-up, sketches and musical performances.
The average U.S. internet user spends 32 hours online per month [tweet this]. And, a study in 2010, showed children ages eight to 18, spent seven and a half hours online. So, what is all that time spent online doing to our brains? From epiphanie-sharing outlet, Epipheo.TV, “What the Internet is Doing to Our Brains,” examines the internet’s affect on our increasing inability to stay focused.
It looks like “Flock of Seagulls” has some competition from this flock* of Bald Eagles in an Alaskan Safeway parking lot. Reported earlier this week from Unalaska Community Broadcasting in Unalaska, Alaska (yes, that’s really the town’s name), the convocation was caught on video and now has more than 90,000 views on YouTube.
