Putting in the man hours at #CES, so you don’t have to

The International Consumer Electronics Show (CES) sets the stage for “what’s next” in the consumer electronics world. And, I’m going to be on the ground floor. Think of me as your personal CES attendant.

I get to take attending CES up a notch. This year I’m privileged to partner with, third-largest cable entertainment and broadband services provider in the country, Cox Communications as their Social Correspondent and Ambassador. I’ll be like your personal CES attendant, sharing the best finds from the exhibit hall via daily video recaps, Twitter, Facebook and my #CES Pinterest Board. It’s my job over the course of the show to share all my “fave” finds. From innovations like flexible screens to the craziest smartphone cases, I’m in for the long haul.

Do you know of a booth I simply MUST stop by? Leave a comment here or text me at 224.789.8314 with the details. My camera crew and I are narrowing down our plan of attack.

I also have it on good authority that Cox Communications plans to announce their latest innovations in consumer video during the show. And, as part of my  ”official ambassador duties,” I’ll sit down with Cox Communications president Pat Esser, to get the scoop for you. (I’ll share interview details via an update to this post.)

One more thing…

You’re invited to virtually get in the #CES mix via a live Twitter chat with Cox and Cisco executives on Tuesday, January 8, from 3:00 PM to 3:30 PM PST. I will be your friendly moderator and we’ll discuss #2013CES trends in social television and consumer electronics. Use hashtag #CoxTV and follow @PRsarahevans and @Cox_PR.

Hey Sarah - I'll try to follow along during the Twitter Chat, but that's at the same time as CNET's Next Big Thing and my team will be reporting live from that event.

I'll shoot out some retweets for you though :)

@jameshicks you're so kind, James. Thank you. Totally understand about the conflicting events. CNET's Next Big Thing will be awesome, no doubt. Hope to see you while you're in town. Go Vegas!
