Many social bios are pretty short. On Twitter it’s 160 characters. That’s not a lot of space to list a bunch of disclaimers. If you’re a journalist you may be required by your employer to include said disclaimer. There’s a 24 character answer waiting for you.

Disclaimify = a way to make everyone happy. If you’re a journalist and interact via social media, you may include a disclaimer in your online bio. The problem is, most online bios offer a limited amount of space. Who wants to fill the “about me” section with a bunch of disclaimers? Not me. If you drop the following link (http://SeeDisclaimer.com) in your online bio, it brings readers to this message:

Brought to you by the folks at Muck Rack, it’s a free, simple tool available to anyone who requires it. Granted, you could include a disclaimer on your news site and create a shortened URL to throw in your bio, but this works just fine.

Here’s an example of a 17 character (including spaces) disclaimer, but it only addresses retweets. The Disclaimify link at 24 characters (including spaces) brings you to a page that covers you for links, likes and follows, too.
