Here’s one less headache for you… You can now change the name of your Facebook Page. Be it because your business name changed or an accidental misspelling, no need to be embarrassed any longer.

If you need your web address changed you’re still pretty much out of luck. Sorry. For now, bookmark this page for your records (https://www.facebook.com/help/contact_us.php?id=262629790471076).

Upon reading your post I tried to change the name of a Facebook page for an organization of which I'm a co-organizer. Turns out, Facebook page name changes may not be so easy.

 

After trying to change the name of a Facebook Page of which I'm an administrator, I received an email from Facebook requiring me to provide "documentation" of my new business name and address (such as a utility bill, etc.). The page whose name I'm trying to change is an organization and it does not have an address or any other way to prove it's new name is legitimate. I've emailed Facebook, sending them a link to our organization's website with the correct name of our organization. I'll have to wait to see if that is "documentation" enough for them to make the name change on the page.
