FAVE SITE: Have you visited The Nicest Place on the #Internet? Two words: Free. Hugs.

This really is the nicest place on the internet and not just because it’s named The Nicest Place on the Internet (thenicestplaceontheinter.net). Thanks to co-creators Lauren Perlow and Jeff Lam you can view hundreds of stranger-submitted virtual hug videos on demand to give you a little extra pep in your step.

Have you ever noticed when you are happy more people around seem happy? Happiness is contagious. When you visit The Nicest Place on the Internet you catch the best virus on the web. Pun intended.

If hugs from complete strangers aren’t your thing, create your own hug hub. “To create a personalized version, anyone can simply enter YouTube IDs for the videos they’d like to include. The website automatically formats those videos and sets them to music at a unique URL.”

Questions? Email them at hello@thenicestplaceontheinter.net.

If that’s not enough info for you, check out TNPOTI video:

(h/t to @Mashable for the hug hub update)

This website is simply amazing! The idea is so simple but fantastic in the same time. It's amazing to see how random hugs from people you don't know can cheer you up and see & witness the humanity and the kindness of the human nature. It's a must click it!
