FAVE TOOL: When is the best time for you to tweet? Timely tells you.

Timely (timely.is) analyzes your tweets and figures out what times of day you get the best engagement. Niiiiiiiiice. If you don’t feel like signing up for the service, you can simply enter your Twitter ID on their homepage to get an idea of when you should tweet. Kind of like dine ‘n dash, but not.

The magic Timely bots told me I need to post more at 1 a.m. As much as I’d like to get up then (if I’m not up with Baby K) I think not. The good news? I can schedule content to go out using Timely too. And it’s not just Twitter, you can link up your Facebook page as a bonus. Did I mention there’s no cost? Now I did.

You can also use the Timely bookmarklet to easily post no matter where you’re visiting on the web.

Not sure what to post? That’s okay, Timely helps with that, too.

I tested Timely using Google Chrome and had a bit of trouble scheduling tweets in the queue. I’m sure this is something they’re working on <nudge, nudge>.
