FAVE FACEBOOK: Get a hot, new Facebook Timeline Cover (for free)

Two words. Well, two words combined in one: CoverCanvas. You know how you have all that cool new space at the top of your Facebook Timeline? If you’re like me you’re wondering what the heck you’re supposed to do with it. While inserting that nostalgic photo of you and Timmy Zimmerman* from the eighth grade dance sounds like a good idea, don’t do it. I can bet that Timmy doesn’t want you to either.

Here’s what you do with that big piece of social media property — use a free tool to make it zing.

CoverCanvas makes it easy (and you KNOW I love easy) to quickly create a Cover that is as awesome as you are. When you get to the site simply select “get started” and you’re in. The tech wizards have it set up so random profile photos are selected and if you don’t like them just say so. You can also decide if you want to include your name, your name plus photos or just photos in the Cover. Done.

So stop embarrassing yourself with that current Cover and “make it work.”

NOTE: Once you upload your photo CoverCanvas auto posts the photo and a link to their site on your Timeline. You can choose to hide it if you’d like.
