FAVE MACBOOK ACCESSORY: BookBook cover from twelvesouth

Shortly after “pinning” this yesterday people went crazy for it. I don’t own it…yet. This is like old school meets new school. It’s like a book within a book. Mind blowing, right? Okay, maybe not. Still, the BookBook cover from TwelveSouth is definitely a conversation piece. No two are alike. At least that’s what they tell me:

Each BookBook is brought to life with hand craftsmanship and distressing, ensuring no two are exactly alike. From dual zippers with leather pulls, that at first glance look like bookmarks, to the sturdy reinforced hardback covers, BookBook is a vintage work of art built to protect modern day Macs. The classic case was designed to be used two ways. Use it as a traditional sleeve or use the elastic corner clips to hold your MacBook in place while you work with it in BookBook. Dual zippers allow you to charge your MacBook while it safely stays inside BookBook. This case is designed with good looks and smart functionality, cover to cover.

I also like it because it serves as a disguise for some pretty expensive equipment. No offense to my mom the librarian, but who is going to jack a really old book laying around? Now, my MacBook, that’s another story.

The BookBook is available in red or black for MacBook Pro and MacBook Air.

Since I don’t own one yet, my friend Sarah Morgan (@sarahmorgan) does and she loves it. Tweet her for an endorsement if you don’t believe me. ;)

FYI: There’s also a BookBook version for the iPhone and iPad (1 and 2). Ohhhh…now I’m drooling. Must. Have. All.
